Laboratory Medicine Västernorrland is a regional unit for laboratory activities within Clinical Chemistry, Clinical Microbiology, and Transfusion Medicine. Approximately 115 people work within the Sundsvall operation.

Our Substrate Department is a small unit consisting of 3 positions that work with the production of microbiological culture media. The Substrate Department plays a very important role in supplying the microbiological laboratory with substrates so that they can perform their analyses.

We at the Substrate Department are now looking for a Laboratory Assistant to join us. The position is a permanent employment with immediate start.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of substrates
• Handling of chemicals
• Dishwashing and sterilization management
• Handling of special waste
• Ordering and management of goods deliveries
• Simpler administrative tasks
• Planning for substrate supply

Additional Information

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who

• Is a specialist nursing assistant in laboratory medicine or has another equivalent education
• Has experience in laboratory work
• Has knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to at least B-level
